Paint Removal Agent (PRA) is a cleaning product specifically developed for the removal of paint residues from glass surfaces of solar panels. The formula of this solution is designed to be as mild as possible with the solar panels, so that it is easy to use and does not present any health risks for professionals.
PRA is designed for water based paints only.

Paint Removal Agent
Paint Removal Agent is a cleaning agent especially developed for the removal of interior paints, exterior coatings, multi-surface enamels, and water-based spray paints from the surface of solar module glass.
Manual brush, WFP or electric rotative brush
Spray, brush and rinse:
o Dilute the product and spray it onto the panels using a manual or battery-
operated sprayer, making sure to soak the complete surface.
o On severe cases, brush the modules without adding water to make sure that
the product can reach the glass.
o Let it soak for 10-20 minutes.
o Brush vigorously.
o Rinse thoroughly with pure water.
Note: a brush with harder bristles is recommended. On extreme cases, a walnut scrub pad might be necessary to completely remove the stains.
Water-Powered Rotary Brush
Spray, brush and rinse:
o Dilute the product and spray it onto the panels using a manual or battery-
operated sprayer, making sure to soak the complete surface. o Let it soak for 10-20 minutes.
o Brush vigorously.
o Rinse thoroughly with pure water.
Note: do not brush after spraying as it will dilute the product.
Mixed in Cleaning Water:
o mix the product directly into the cleaning water (directly in the water tank or
using a dosing pump)
o brush the entire surface with the diluted product
o wait 10 to 20 min
o to rinse, change to the pure water hose, or open the bypass if using a dosing
pump, and brush and rinse thoroughly o If necessary, repeat the steps above
Robot
Spray first:
o dilute the product and spray on the panels with a sprayer making sure to
soak the complete surface.
o on severe cases, brush the modules without adding water to make sure that
the product can reach the glass
o wait 10 to 20 min
o pass the robot to brush and rinse the modules o If necessary, repeat the steps above
Mixed in the cleaning water: in severe cases:
o mix the product directly into the cleaning water (directly in the water tank or
using a dosing pump)
o brush the entire surface with the diluted product
o wait 10 to 20 min
o to rinse, change to the pure water hose, or open the bypass if using a dosing
pump, and brush and rinse thoroughly o If necessary, repeat the steps above
Sprayer on the robot: some manufacturers have the option of a sprayer on the robot, replacing the front brush and covering a bigger area.
o mix the product directly into the cleaning water (directly in the water tank or using a dosing pump)
o spray the diluted product on the entire surface o wait 10 to 20 min
o remove the sprayer and install the brush
o pass the robot to brush and rinse the modules o If necessary, repeat the steps above
Brush on tractor
Spray with an agricultural sprayer:
o dilute the product and spray the solution on the panels making sure to soak
the complete surface.
o wait 10 to 20 min
o pass the brush with pure water to brush and rinse the modules o If necessary, repeat the steps above
Spray using the brush:
o spray the diluted product on the panels while brushing making sure to soak
the complete surface.
o wait 10 to 20 min
o pass the brush with pure water to brush and rinse the modules o If necessary, repeat the steps above
o Dilute the product directly in the cleaning water tank or mix it in real time with a dosing pump.
o Clean the modules as you would if using just water. The mechanical action of the bristles against the module will promote the adhesion of the coating while you are cleaning. After cleaning, you don’t need to rinse the modules.
Note: This product is not recommended to be applied with manual brush. To have the antistatic protection on the modules, using a manual brush, we recommend the Solar Wash Protect (SWP)
